Back From Barcelona

March 16th, 2006 | By: Nicke | 3 Comments »

I had five fantastic days in Barcelona, it is a fantastic city and the weather is much better then here in Sweden. I understand why Henrik Larsson chooses to play there but I can’t understand that he wants to move home to Sweden, if I was Larsson I would have stayed forever.

Unfortunately there was no match at Camp Nou but I watched the game against Osasuna on a bar with lots of Barca fans. They all appreciate our Swedish hero and the general opinion was that Barca would have won the game if Larsson had started the game. The reason that Larsson has become so popular in Barca seems to be that the fans think that he is very honest and always give 100% for the club irrespective of how much time he gets on the field. Several fans admired his working capacity and flexibility. His shirt where often placed in the display window of the shops together with Ronaldinho, Eto’o and Puyol.
