Ibrahimovic Likes Sweden’s Chances

Look out for Sweden. That is the message from striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who thinks that Sweden will make some noise this summer in Germany.

“I would say that our World Cup chances are good,” Ibrahimovic told Football Italia.

“I’m very hopeful because we have great players like Freddie Ljungberg at Arsenal, Barcelona’s Henrik Larsson, Christian Wilhelmsson of Anderlecht and Andreas Isaksson – who once played for Juventus.”

Ibrahimovic’s optimism undoubtedly has increased since World Cup Blog tapped Sweden to win Group B.

Brazil have not-so-good memories about Sweden. Someday we will hear about them again. Not on their celular phones, but in the green field. Could it happen this year???
