Ljungberg Can Score!

May 4th, 2006 | By: Nicke | 1 Comment »

Fredrik Ljungberg scored tonight and ended a drought in the English premiership that has lasted more than a year. Nice for Freddie to show that he still got it, Swedish fans have never had reason to doubt since he have continued to produce in the national team. Ljungberg did a excellent game and he has during the last year showed that he has grown as a player even if he don’t find the net as easily as before in Arsenal. He act as a leader on the pitch and tries to rule the pace of the game when Arsenal need some calm or wake them when they have to find new ways to turn around a game. I rank Ljungberg as our most important player and I have no reasons to change my opinion after tonight. If he is at top this summer he gives Ibrahimovic and Larsson the extra space that they need and together with his high work capacity the defence get well needed support.

It was a real pleasure to read his name at livescore behind the 0-1!
