Stockholmers Reject Freddie Ljungberg in his knickers
Fredrik Ljungberg was rested as Arsenal knocked three past Sunderland. With the Gunners still desperately chasing fourth place in the Premier League, it was kind of Monsieur Wenger to save Freddie’s legs for the World Cup. Or perhaps he was thinking of some rather insignificant final the Gunners will be playing in a couple of weeks.

Of course, Freddie could have requested the rest as his modeling schedule must be pretty grueling. He does get about, doesn’t he. This week in Stockholm, city planners got rather hot under the collar when plans to hang a 360 square meter poster of Ljungberg in his Calvin Klein knickers outside a building in central Stockholm were revealed.
Thankfully, the poster was banned, as the planners decided that the billboard poster, meant to advertise Calvin Klein, was too sexist. Of course, the fact that several restaurants would have had a room with a view had nothing to do it.

I’m not sure which is more painful, the thought that Ljungberg has to drain the blood from his feet after every game or the sight of that poster.
Ok, the poster is more painful.
