Sweden Olympic Ice Hockey Champions

Sweden won the last and most important gold in Winter Olympics in Torino and is now the best Ice Hockey team in the world. The Swedish hockey team has failed to live up to the expectations in the last big tournaments finally managed to win a big final. It was a thriller against our worst enemy our neighbors Finland and Sweden won after a fantastic 3-2 goal by the best defender in the world, Nicklas Lidstrom.

The gold was very important since the Swedish football team seems to perform better when our hockey team does so and I am now sure that Sweden will go the semifinals in the World Cup as we did after our last Olympic hockey gold in Lillehammer 1994. Zlatan, Ljungberg and Larsson will be determined to show that they are bigger stars then our Olympic heroes Sundin Forsberg and Lidstrom.
