Sweden to Face Chile for First Time

Rounding out its schedule of friendlies in preparation for the World Cup, Sweden will play Chile near Stockholm on June 2.

“They are good opponents with a style of play like (our World Cup opponents) Trinidad and Tobago and Paraguay,” coach Lars Lagerback said. “It will be extra fun to give the crowd a completely new opponent, since we’ve never ever faced them before.”
