Zlatan Chooses Bosnia Instead

February 21st, 2006 | By: Nicke | No Comments »

Bosnian/Swedish striker Zlatan Muslimovic chooses to play for the Bosnian national team according to Swedish TV4. The young striker has said in several interviews that he would like to play for Sweden but it seems that he has wearied of waiting and now chooses Bosnia instead.

Muslimovic has impressed in Messina and Swedish fans had hopes that he would get the chance against Ireland in March but probably Lagerbäck has told him that he would have to wait until after the World Cup before he eventually will get his chance.
I think he has the potential to be a very good striker but it seems as he rater chooses the easy way and play for a team in which he can be sure to take a place then to fight to get into the Swedish attack. If that is the case he is not the right man for a Swedish national team anyway and we can only wish him good luck in Bosnia.
